We woke up in this gorgeous bay and headed for shore by
dinghy. Our guide book told us there
were hiking trails here so we set of on one.
We accidentally chose the toughest – a hike up the cliff to a statue of
the Virgin Mary, maybe 800 feet above the water and overlooking the Saguenay
River. It was tough but beautiful. We returned to the dinghy dock and set off on
another shorter hike along the River Eternite.
The tide was now low and, of course, it looked completely
different. We returned to the boat and
Ron went fishing in the dinghy – without success.
