We putzed around in the morning planning our next couple of
weeks cruising, then headed ashore and set off on bikes to North Hero General
Store where we planned to take advantage of their WIFI. On the way Ron got a puncture and we spent
about an hour trying to fix it. We had
some fancy pre-glued inner tube patches and, long story short, they weren’t
working. We replaced the tube, pumped it
up hard and it seemed to be OK, then after a minute or so, hiss… After several attempts, we locked Ron’s bike
up, Ron walked to the store (1.5 miles) and Teresa went for a ride while Ron
updated the blog.
