It poured down last night and this morning. At about 12:30 we were fed up with waiting for the rain to lighten up and set off towards Fairport, 41° 44’.64N 81° 16’.91W. We must have been doing something right, ‘cause just after we set off, the rain stopped and the sun started to come out. No wind yet though so we were motoring again. After about an hour, the wind picked up, the sun came out and we had a glorious sail to Fairport. Went for a walk in Fairport – a small town with several fish restaurants on the waterfront. Today’s log: 26.0 nm, season total: 1070.2
